    This is exactly what I had in mind for sub-tabs emoticon_smile
    For the background I'd rather have a background for the colored part in the header but not everywhere, do you see what I mean ?

      We should discuss the choice of the decorative images in a wider circle. I like it better this way, because it has an interesting x-ray effect, but ATM it's just a POC, and it's subject to change and improvement.

      You propose to remove the background image just from the submenu, or from the page as well?

    I think fixed backgrounds (ie. floating content when scrolling) are distracting, my preference would go to have a background in the header (and not the body)
