Intranet
- Teams
- every team could have a group page where they could see the members.
- from the group page they could create their own workspace.
- we can define the members of a workspace in the creation step (one by one)
- better: be able to add groups as members
- should anyone be able to create a group? (doable - technical, debatable - behavior)
- the group term is closely related to the workspace one
- Focus:
- Collaboration
- Isolation (in a good sense) - less noise, customization
- Why have a workspace for our group?
- ability to have isolated applications, that are independent -> Applications
- we have isolated spaces -> Content
- ability to define rights for external people (if we want)
- invite more people in the workspace with a nice UI -> Users
- customize it to our target, audience, like (custom logo, colortheme) -> Customization
- How do we add users to the workspace?
- (Not done) Can we add them from User Directory?
- (Done) Administration - Users
- (Bug) Consistency between main wiki and subwiki display of deleted users (FutureFiredMan)
Technical
- Allow groups to be added in the Workspace creation
- Just like we have User Directory, have Group pages - that displays users and maybe some custom info
- Allow the user to know in which group he is part off - similar to User Profile Wiki tab.
- I might be part of some groups that don't have a workspace yet
